At Culls Cottage we encourage you to explore the great outdoors and so we welcome Cyclists and Walkers to the cottage.
There are numerous guide books, local and regional cycling and walking guides and maps at Culls Cottage as well as a number of laminated routes that you can take out with you. There are more than 500 miles of public footpaths and bridleways to explore.
Details of your nearest cycle hire outlets and cycle repair/spares shops can be found at Culls Cottage.
If you are arriving on foot or by bicycle, we are happy to provide you with grocery items, just ask us for the essential shopping list when booking and we will have the items you selected there for your arrival. Once at Culls Cottage there are a number of local companies that will deliver daily.
Just in case you need to buy any extra clothing items, we have included details of outdoor clothing shops in the area and details of the nearest doctor, dentist, hospital and all-night chemists. You will also find information on local public transport and baggage and cycle transfers in the area.

Bourton Cycles provide quality hire bikes, bike sales, servicing and repairs. The cost of delivery to The Chestnuts is approximately £10 and they can deliver up to 10 bikes including tandems at any time.

Bicycles can also be hired from The Cotswold Woollen Weavers in nearby Filkins, although they do not deliver, they have a large car park to leave your car whilst you hire your bicycle and are just a ten minute drive away. Tel: 01367 8604
If you want some experienced guidance and expert interpretation of the landscape, then why not join one of the regular guided walks led by Cotswolds Conservation Board voluntary wardens.
